From The Pastor’s Desk

“Sing O you childless woman, you who have never given birth. Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband, says the LORD.” “Enlarge your house build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!”

“For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.”

“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood.”

“The prophet Isaiah was given a prophetic word from God to speak into the future of Israel. In those days, to be barren or childless was a great shame for a woman; it was considered a disgrace and a reproach for a married woman not to be able to bare children for her husband. These families, not like today, depended largely on children for survival – especially when the parents become elderly.”

“The nation of Israel couldn’t rejoice for her children because she, Jerusalem, was unfruitful in a childless state, like a barren woman and through a prophetic word, she would become joyful again and her mourning would turn into singing.”

“I truly believe that this wonderful word given by Isaiah, is a ‘NOW’ word. A word for the church of Jesus Christ; that she may begin to speak into her future and once again become fruitful. Verses ‘2’ and ‘3’ of Isaiah 54 says; ‘Enlarge your house; build additions – spread out your home, and spare no expense!'”

“For you will soon be bursting at the seams…”

“So many Pastors are becoming weary and to the point of giving up. Church doors, houses of worship, are closing by the hundreds every year and many of these leaders are feeling lost and forsaken. But hear what God is saying to these leaders – ‘Speak into your Future’ – prophesy over your house – come alive with the truth of God’s word – they are coming back in droves – make room – don’t become weary in well doing – you will begin to sing and rejoice like never before. “

“Be steadfast, immovable, always abound in the calling of the Lord – get ready for a great harvest – your shame is ‘NOW’ removed.”
